Congratulations for a beautiful work of art! A clear winner from the outset
Ah by the way I spotted one little - very little - mistake. Straight sword but curved scabbard ;-)

I have some more pics of the making up, and i'm happy to share them with you guys (anyway are already posted in my website...)
i wanted to test my skills on a favorite subject, i took the torso and head of a Italeri yankee and the rest i sculpted myself.... it went out a bit too short in the legs, but i was very happy with the detailing and with the kolpack.
all sculpting done with greenstuff. The basing is very poor, but it is a bit a choice for my work.

Saw this a while back (not painted) and I thought then what a lovely looking figure it is. Congratulations

The one with the little dog jumping up...that one is also excellent.

Incredible job and a deserved victory, although i have to say that i really could'n choose between the two finalist. The styles were so different and i really liked them both. But then again there can be only one winner so

CONGRATULATIONS !!! (and in my case to both of you)

Well it would be remiss of me to not congratulate my final round opponent, so well done.

I always have deep respect for those of you who can sculpt in this scale and your entry was no exception. I indeed voted for you myself in the minor rounds but had to vote for me in the final I'm sure you understand

Excellent pose very atmospheric photography and a solid paint job.

On another note though it does seem a bit sad that the competitions are not very well patronised. There are after all only 16 positions available each month yet we do not seem to fill them. Strange indeed given the size of the membership and the amount of active people on the forums. I would like then to take this opportunity to appeal to members to support the competitions each month and thereby support Benno who in turn supports your hobby

Cheers

When I saw this in the first round I was instantly knewing that this means the end for Vlad Tzepes. And rightfully. A very nice piece of conversion and painting.Congratulations.
