Vive I'Empereur

Posted by k.b. on 18 Oct 2010, 08:59

Just a quick good nite from these boys as they sadly (for me) depart from the painting comp. Not to worry! Having seen the likes of Erik and Thomas likewise make their exits makes things a little less painful. Even so was a bit disappointed with the poor turn out of voters!

These 18mm AB miniatures from Tony Barton have to be some of my all time favourite figures. Soon there will be more from this regiment as my command figures near completion.

They got my vote and I had thought, that your entry and the Normandy-Dio would fight for the crown :king:
Although the other entries are nice as well

I would have been honored to fight against this entry in the last round. But the members have spoken.

A very dynamic and colorful scene. AB and KB rule! :headbang:

Thought I'd share a few more photos of these lads before they join the rest of their regiment on permanent wargames bases.

Hi K.B.,

I hope you don't mind but I saved the pics as my screensaver.

I no longer have better words to discribe how much I adore this collection.

Just a glimpse of what's to come next on this thread. Here's the standard bearer of my 24 man regiment of horse guard chasseurs all of whom have painted and am now preparing for their bases...surely this regiment has to be the most beautiful of all Napoleonic armies!

Thanks indeed Peter for your encouragement. Am not sure if I like these pictures ....don't you think they're a bit on the small size?
As such my next pics will be at least one size up!
