Congratulations Nono!! Of course now you will have to explain to us in detail (with more pictures :-D ) how you created this masterpiece.

And like everybody else said, voting in the final round was nearly impossible!

Wow! Firstly congratulations to Nono for a superb entry, I was really left gasping with just how good it was.

And secondly to Thomas. Yours too was a masterwork of subtle colours.

My only regret is that you both have set such a high standard, I know I will have to paint until I am 112 to catch up (and who knows how much further you both will have improved by then).

I´ll second that. Which figure was used to make Joan and is the flag hand painted? Congratulations Jeanne

Congratulations Nono,

This was my favorite al the way. White is a very diffucult color to paint and you did the horse simply brilliant. But i have to admit that in the final round there was a very hard choice to make so congrats to Thomas for his masterpiece too.

Well done gentleman (and al the others to ofcourse) for making this competition so exciting

It's always somehow more gratifying to me knowing that the eventual winner was the entry that was responsible for knocking me out of the competition in the penultimate round.

Come to think of it Thomas's would have knocked me out as well.

Congratulations Nono on a fine victory. The white horse is done very nicely given that painting white is so difficult. Also the presentation and photography. A lot can be learnt from this by many who lurk on these forums about how to present their work.

Still curious about the copper ring? to the side of the head. What exactly is it supposed to be?

Cheers
