Stacking up pieces ,four to each step.
Keeping them square is easy with a set square and the use of the tables raised edge.
i worked on this throughout the night.
i reached the point in the build where a complete square was stuck into place and this is the foundation where the right mapped out angles cut will change the direction of the next few stairs.
The first cut angle was easy, just stacking it up like the others. i marked a slight arrow showing the way the kite form would point.
Gluing up fresh pieces as i wait for others to dry cuts down on the time spent because it is all about proceeding to the next set of steps after this one is finished.
Yes the kite is marked out which will change the direction to a right angle as the next step is stuck into place. But first i need to fix the over hanging top to finish off the next angled step.
No this is not the piece i need, and yes working with angles can get awfully confusing even for me.
Ah this is the correct shaped step to put into place, and the kite marked out will make it easy to remember which way it goes on. However yes it still needed the over hang top added.
While i waited for the glue to set hard i put the other pieces all in a row just awaiting the finished effect.
i turned the picture upside down which then shows the pattern flow of the steps leading up. i am pleased with how it looks to be turning out in more ways than one, however i might add two more steps.
There are a few more supportive item to add, which i term dressing up the box.
Perhaps a wall ?
and the post?
or a door?
Or a window?
i bet the next thing would be a floor?
And a ceiling?
This might expand like the universe.
yes.... infinity!
What does that all mean?
Pard's, This could go on all the live long day.
Yes ,so i'll see you on the next one. Stay safe. BB
