Love these new additions to your collection Rich, in particular the Natal Mounted Police are most interesting. The British Forces in Zululand were incredibly diverse which makes putting together their forces and painting them up extremely enjoyable.
The Zulus on the other hand are extremely alike. Obviously the different impi had their own shield colours but as most of them removed their wonderful displays of feathers and cowtails on their way to battle the only other distinction is the head ring of married regiments. It all makes for tremendous stamina being required when putting together a considerable Zulu Army which is of course, necessary to stand any chance whatsoever against Chelmsford’s redcoats.

Those look terrific, Rich. I'm glad you were finally able to load them - I have been finding it frustrating as well these days to get on the forum. I especially like your treatment of the figures in red.

Thank you all for your kind words. Next up are Natal Mounted Contingent and artillery. I do have some unmarried warriors and wagons to upload at some point and then that will be my AZW work done for now (I've returned to my favourite theme of WSS).

Here's the last of my AZW efforts for the time being. Many thanks to Mark (Minuteman) who so kindly sent me some Hat unmarried warriors at a point that I couldn't find them anywhere online (they are now re-released and worthwhile figures having, even if a little chunky). I think I ran out of steam with the wagons and gave up on putting a 'load' on the back of the wagon and sorting the harnesses for the oxen and horse team. Maybe I'll re-visit them one day to sort these bits out...but probably not!

Nice additions to your AZW armies, Rich, both the Zulus warriors and the British chariots.
