I've been following Marty's MM for a few years now.
He's a really nice guy and seeing his work is very satisfying.
It's not the only channel for fixing toy cars but the best one if you ask me.

There is something inherently pleasant about seeing diecast being restored :) . I have done it myself, but is overly tiring, and when nowadays most diecast can be gotten for as cheap as 1€ even from the 1970s if small, and just about 10 € for a 1950s one, it loses a bit the point, at least for me. That doesn't prevent me having a full box of diecast to be restored :) .

There is also a polish guy I think who posts this on YouTube, and he even recreates the figurines that came originally with the cars!

I need to dig out the pics of the 1/43 cars I restored a good few years ago...

Chip Channel on Youtube is also quite nice. He finds vintage Tonka, strips off the old paint and rust, buys or makes replacement parts as needed, paints, buffs and assembled and it all looks brand new.

That guy is on a totally different level of skills to mine. The closes thing I do is tuning cars for Gaslands, which is much more humble but very fun:

Cool! I've meant to do some Mad Max custom cars for years now, and I have a bag ready of bashed cars, but still haven't found the time/inspiration to do them.

Blacksmith, Kekso, you use them for wargaming? if yes, what do you use for the figures, the Dark Alliance Stalkers?

I have done inverse few, too, basically militarization;

I keep on searching where I left the pictures of my 1/43 car restorations....

I imagine most of you will remember the car conversions I have done so far: Guardia Civil Armored Car, Armored Money Car and Popemobile. Just in case, here I put the pictures to remember them. :mrgreen:

Now I have some more car conversions designed, but it will still be quite a while until I start working on them as I have other priority projects. :sweatdrop:

Yes, I used them to play Gaslands but then I stopped playing it and sold all the cars. Here's a pic of one of the games I played:
