And some round hat cavalry to? Imex made them in 54mm but not in the 1/72 scale.

I've read that David had more fine clothes. Anyway, very nice scene. And I hope there will be more. And since our old friend Zorro fought some round hats, maybe we can get a caped avenger too? Hmm, Peter, I rememberd these: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1042 . :-D Maybe some round hats on horses?

Davy Crockett--49 at the time of his death at the Alamo.

John Wayne--47 or 48 at the time of the filming.

A likely authentic written account from one of Santa Ana's officers indicates that Crockett surrendered but was executed at swordpoint upon Santa Ana's orders.

I was wondering if the team was planning on making a King Porus figure for the Indian Elephant? The current elephant is such a wonderful replica and the crew are fantastic but I can't help but think that a king would really be a great focal point.

I hope I don't turn this into a list of demands for Speira...

but I would love to see some US cavalry for the Indian/Plains Wars - wouldn't be that difficult to adapt from their ACW stuff maybe?

Not that much choice really for that classic 'Cowboys and Indians' period in terms of 1/72 plastic figures.

Hello,
This is really impressive.
The quality of Speira is not great I could see them providing more "niche" topics such as WW2 crew heavy weapons or Napoleonic artillery crews to complement some existing lines or even fill a gap such as Russian and Prussian horse artillery. French guard horse artillery is not really nice from Italeri so here also could benefit from additions.
Cheers.

I think CPN meant to type that the quality of Speira miniatures is so great. Correct me if I am wrong.

The groups of figures interacting are so well done, they recall to my mind the Pegasus D-Day Rangers, surely one of the best 1/72 scale plastic soldiers sets ever made.

I think these guys have a sniper somewhere close! Great figures, great painting and great reuse of some poses from the ACW-range! And I can only agree! Speirea are great! Great figures, great service and if you are a puppy they are great to eat!
