And after some painting work : "The Purple Guard"

It's a WIP because I hope that I will add some Little-men in this "army" and also do a scenery with all of them.... :P

Hobbits are very short however their feet come in many hairy sizes to make up for that, a bit like us i suppose? Very interesting figures. i expect a great untidy adventure is upon its unfolding way?
Very good Sam. BB

Looks great! Converting Mithril-figures??? Wow! Have some of the hobbits and mine look the way they look, yours looks like they really mean business! Are you selling all your hobbits too? Ah, can look at ebay! :-D .... Looked! And it is definitely worth a look! Great stuff! Hmm, there CAN be space in the hobby-room for some of it, maybe. Haven't decided yet.

Thanks Gunnar !
I'm not selling all my Hobbits but I've sold some of them... Bad choice because I would like to have them yet, they are almost all rare figures.
For the rest of the collection, well I've sold more than half of all my Mithril figs....
If you're interested with some, PM of course, not necessary to use evilbay !
(Prices are not very high, I've checked the Mithril Database and also the other sellers ..

i found the ring. That is why you cannot see me.(That`s good at present i`m covered in builders dust.)
So that ring certainly works.___________ Unlike those figures wearing black over their entire self. BB

Those men in black can't be seen in the darkness .....
It's a good thing that you're covered with dust Paul !

I will work now on a conversion of Hobbits as Bowmen... and maybe more !
Our difficult era needs some fighters against the Darkness...

Great looking little fellows.
A metal pin converted into an arrow would make the archers look even better. BB

Look very good! Have one of the bowmen, but I couldn't get the bowhand to stay where it should.

You can add a hand+bow from a 1/72 figure : I think it works ... and that I will try to do with another figure.
(the bowman on the left is the original version and the one on the right is a conversion done by "someone" from Croatia .. )

Thanks Mabo ... for sure here, we are not so many to know the Mithril figures... Gunnar and me for sure, and I don't remember to have seen other ones on Benno's.
The fact is that they are not really compatible with the GW figs except maybe some of them which have almost the same size but the style is too different in my opinion.

and ... I'm quite happy to come back here with new work !
That's something "special" ... :-D

Very nice conversion! Can agree with Pascal. Mithril are probably only comparable with Mithril. But the style is, in my humble opinion, great! Much more interesting than GW and others. The scale 32mm is also quite odd I think. Started to prime some of the figs I got from Pascal. Will take some time to paint them. Great fun though!

:yeah: Waiting to see those figures painted !
Agree with you about Mithril, they are compatible with Mithril and that's all.
But there is a problem with this manufacturer :
a very few references are still available in their webshop and the new ones are "different" because the sculptor (Chris Tubb) use 3D now...
And honesty, their politic about doing figures for collectors is quite something I don't like.
And the prices ...

So if you want to buy some, the only way is to check Ebay or... ask to me, with chance,
you can find something at a "low" price.
