When I first bought these figures - probably ten years ago - I intended to make a Minoan(ish) army for Chariot wars by GW.

With the growth in scope of my Dark Age Greek project I dug them out, bought some more and undercoated enough to make a Dragon Rampant army.

I can't believe how nice they are to paint!

The detail is incredible, the sculpting awesome, and while some of the poses are a bit awkward, overall I am enjoying the immensely.

No pictures yet, they need basing materials adding but the Elite Foot (people like Agamenon, Ajax, etc) are nearly done.

I may do some replacement spears on some as it looks like they have snakes in their hands, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

I have no experience with these particular sets, but I always found the sculpting and detail of Caesar Miniatures very good.

And now we are waiting for the pictures...!

Some of the figures I have been working on. In Dragon Rampant terms they are "Elite Foot" - basically 6 heroes of myth and legend.

Now the individual figures - note there are still details to be finished including the edges of the bases.

Lastly a servant girl - note the Red-Figure style vase, with the suggestion of figures painted on it.

The figures look really good, I like the patinated bronze. You don't see that often but it does make sense. The Temple being reclaimed by nature is fabulous and the Red Figured Vase is a great idea and very nicely done.
