Red Box (Ukraine) - Napoleonic Russians in 1/72

Really an announcement, that surprised me. Great miniatures from a company, that is rather unknown.
I think that will change now.

If you're surprised then you're not reading the forum. This is the third thread on the same thing.

Hi MABO - and others,

I don´t agree with your opinions - your critique is wrong - because Mr. Kopp wrote not only about REDBOX -
he wrote over all figures (HAT, ZVEVDA) for a Russian Army about the Napoleonic Wars...

No I am thinking - have you read the article?

Bye

Hi,

My main readers are really 28 mm collectors, who play different wargames. There are many persons who never heard from that company.
And because my article is thought as a review in the manner Thomas descibed it, i posted it here in the Miniatures Talk section, knowing that there are threads about discussing the minis in the News section.
Ups. I know the structure of this Forum. Maybe I really read the headlines?

I think we have more of a translation issue than anything. And I have read the article from koppi and the other threads about these Redbox early-Napoleonic Russians.

His surprise is not that there is a company called Redbox. His surprise is that they popped up with these sets from an era not previously covered, and that the figures are so beautiful.

So let's all put our knives back into the sheaths, please. I, for one, appreciate koppi's article for giving us a broad overview of the sets in this subject. Thanks.

There are times that I wonder if I'm reading the same thread as some others :eh:

Unfortunately, I have only found the pictures on the manufacturer's website, and they do not show the miniatures completely, especially not from all sides.

Really?

At first sight I thought: another article on the Russian Napoleonic sets by Redbox? I started some, some others too (well, there are four sets so that’s actually okay).
But after reading the article posted by Koppi (in German and English) I liked the article, can agree with the content and support the reaction by Thomas Mischak.
Well, if I want to start nitpicking I would have chosen another title.
But I’m not going to.
The article is a good addition to the forum.

Perhaps in future we should strive to bundle things about the same sets in one topic, but perhaps it isn’t all that important!?
This forum is quite accesible I’d say.
Regards!

I haven't read any forum member's comment which says that article is bad.
But some of you are missing the point.
