They chased the wild Boar around my table top
until it escaped into Egberts Castle. BB

These look quite beautiful and will be heading for BB`s Toy Figures that`s for sure,but they are rather expensive at £18.00 plus postage at Model Hobbies, and EBay at £23.00 free postage___well they added it onto their price to it anyway,but as i only needed the one box i bought these on E Bay along with the paint brushes i like to use.



Paint brushes have risen in price dramatically over the past 4 years. I bought in bulk at that time ,and they lasted me well up until today,but being down to my last two i bought some more.

I only buy packs of six 00 Sized brushes because price wise you get a free one in every pack bought.
If needs be i cut them down with my craft knife to my requirements of the day in question. BB

I agree with Gunnar the fantasy type Dire Wolves are large 28mm figures indeed and one certainly would have Holmes a running and Watson standing his ground would be eaten. ........ The punch-line ending of the joke` to survive all I have to do is outrun you,' comes to mind. BB

Very impressed with the 28mm Prehistoric Dire Wolves from Dee Zee,i bought some more. These Pewter figures are in one Pose! They will mix in snarling nice with the others.





Friar Tuck & Marian from Trent Miniatures. ....... There appears to be no Robin Hood in their Collection so i will have fudge around in my own collection to find suitable figures.
Of course my efforts could never match all these promotional painted pictures above.
However one must endeavor in a dip and brush way.

At £12,99 i paid nowhere near that sum. I just checked and this items price has been increased by £5.00




Advertised as being Uncle Sam .
However for me he is The Mad Hatter.
Easy to fix a price tag on his hat.

Nice 28mm Figures
As most know on the Forum,i am no Fantasy Gamer, but i was so impressed by these that i just had to have them. They are fun style figures for my story telling escapades.

Combined postage meant i saved lots of cash, which paid for my Sci Fy Martians.
Yes they worked out free,and that is the way i look at it. BB

Woodland Scenics field grass is around £4.50 for 8g plus postage.

This flax/hemp was £3.35 for 100g including postage. It gets cheaper the more you buy but I think this 100g hank will do for a decade or two.

A two box trial of 1/32 scale figures , before deciding to proceed further with more orders. These are for painting.

Those below are for the Toy Collection.

They are really a set split into two half`s and priced a bit on the heavy side if you were to ask me,but the boxes will look eye-catching on display. That is if I can squeeze them into their own tidy little spot on a shelf.

I bought 8 boxes on Model Hobbies and saved £24.00 by avoiding free postage!

The rip off `free postage', guys on E Bay,buy then put a £4.00 mark up on each box. Which is good for their bank accounts. "he he,caught another one."
I`m laughing I still have my £24.00 in my account.

A little bit of friendly advice
If you only want one box, yes by all means go there,but if needing lots of piled up boxes,then take this tip, and shy away from these slight of hand 45% mark up merchants. I`m sure that you guys buying on E Bay regular know what I am talking about,but newer ones in the hobby may not.









The one above has the contents printed upon the boxes wrong , and there is only 24 in a box not 32.... a printers mistake perhaps?
Which is one in the eye for those buying and selling them.
