i only heard bad things about the fortresses of miniart .. these should be usefull for kids to play with ... but not for Dios...

Not bad for wargaming, but get the big Version

Get two sets and you can create a big Castle with more space in the middle.
With a bit of additional work it Looks ok. ..I´d buy it.

No space for the bigger version. And definitely not two of them. It will be a couple of months before I buy anything at all so we'll see how it ends. The price is nice and I can throw in some figures too for my 500 SEK that I can use for this little hobby. It's going to be used for many scenes is my little plan. Both from the inside and the outside.

@Susofrick Yes I tried back in 2012...Can say that it was hard for me back then, and the castle was destroyed...Reason was that I had problems to fix sides of castle...There isn't any holders like in other sets, as I recall, and I think that there will be some gaps between sides of castle and towers and walls...I can't remember was it because I cut the sides wrong or because of manufacturer...I remember I tried to fix the gaps with some acrylic putty, but back then I didn't know do work good with that stuff...I was also an idiot not to use old trick with carboard to fix sides...

If space is tight,you can always design,and build one for you own needs Gunnar. That is If you are healed up enough ,and are able to draw and cut out stuff. Lots use Styrene Sheets, and with good looking end results for photo shoots. If you need a strong one quick, its a Kit ,or you use other stuff like Cork or something else to make one. Whish I could help more.
Perhaps a Group Build to get Gunnar ,what he need`s. That's a Good Idea! I know,I thought of it. BB

Then go for the smaller Castle, and only one of them (the other you can send to me )
IMHO, it Looks fine, not 100% historically correct so won´t please the rivet Counters but a great Basis for creating Scenes. ........

I bought one back in 2010...It is not good, I had to fill the gaps as I remember and I didn-t had expirinece back than with castle models...It was my first castle model...As I remember arrow loops made biggest problem since it doesn-t fit good...

I built the castle, only problem I had I was missing two of the trap doors, and the only reason it took me a while to build it needed a fair bit of filling and it's not my usual type of diorama, first non 20th century diorama I have done, so it was a lesson for me to learn something new, it's turned out well, it's worth any effort.

The Imex is much better, haven't built it yet though, and a bit more expensive but probably worth it..
