French lancers

Elite company, 5th French Line Lancers. Looking at these chaps now i think Franznap's incredible figures in 1/72 have had an influence on the painting of these - can't wait to get my hands on some of his minis ...















Unfortunately my photographic skills have been unable to do justice to the trumpeter's white mount - there are many subtle grey tones and not just the solid white which appears in these photos. Oh well .... practice makes perfect....or so they say!!!

Hi Keith,

I love these miniatures. I just wish they are in 1/72...
However, they do give me ideas for conversion!

PS, thank you so much for your suggestion about my recent work. I do not take your suggestion lightly and it does help me with my future endeaver. I'm very thankful and truly apprecaite it.
