Officers Mess

Season's Greetings

Posted by Dad's Army on 23 Dec 2023, 17:08

Well guys,

It's time to wish you a Merry Christmas and a fantastic 2024 full of fun characters and great events.
I will start promoting again mid-January at a fair (no figures) in Germany, together with Jan (Mabo) Martin and Hans. I have no special intentions for 2024, just continue with the Romans to be able to tap that 1,000 one day. And hopefully a small start with the Asterix diorama.
I'm also thinking of quitting my blog, the compulsory posting of 1 post a month is weighing me down more and more. Partly because finding non-violent figurines also remains difficult.
However, I do still want to organise a FIGZ in 2024, and manage the duels here on the forum, but due to too little interest I do want to stop Mr X because finding 12 different members is an mission impossible. Too bad then but promote the 1-on-1 duels.
But for now, happy holidays!

Greetings Remco (Dad's Army / Grandpa Ice)

Thank you Remco. Not just for Christmas greeting but for all you've done for this forum (duels and stuff).

This year I've got the best Christmas present ever... although, that means less hobby time in 2024. for me.
Merry Christmas to all you guys!

Happy Christmas to all of you.

Thanks Remco for your work on several important topics in and related to the forum. I think it is a good idea to pause the Mr.X duels.
Maybe there will be a bit more action in a year or so, when we all miss this aspect here at Bennos.

And of course congratulations, Dalibor! Fantastic picture. I wish you and your family a year of joy, happiness and peace.

All my best greetings to all forum members.

Hope you all had peaceful holidays, ressourced yourselves. :merrychristmas:
This year I stayed at home and we received all children and first grandchildren. We managed to spend these days devoting time to each other which is rather a rare event - we are all very busy usually. Well, we also ate too much.
And no, I had no Christmas present with models - my people know that I like these, but to them it is such a confidential hobby that they do not have the slightest idea how to choose a present here. So I get always socks, underwear and books :read:
Kekso - my congratulations to your Christmas present! There is none better.

May you have a wonderful party to meet New Year. :occasion: 8)
And let's have a roaring 2024 here on the forum.

Michael
