Hi Santi, I'm looking forward to this; the figure on the ground could be my dad. He was there and was severely wounded. Used to love listening to his war stories; he told me how they got their nickname of Red Devils. Wish he was still around.

PDA, the commemoration is still being held each year to keep it alive, and to make people here understand what a sacrifation it took to liberate the Dutch from the Germans back then.

It is very much appreciated, and I note that Canada's sacrifice is also still very much remembered.

Yes, you're quite right about that. Holten lies nearby my city. about 30-45 minutes by car from my house. But the Canadians were helped by an English tank regiment, if I recall correctly.

Donald,I have my work with relatives, others gift and I am preparing a permanent exhibition in a local city hall where I live.
