Expeditionary Force 54mm Napoleonic British

Posted by Londoncopper on 28 Jul 2023, 22:36

I picked up around 30 Expeditionary Force British line infantry on Facebook for a good price, they were painted but rather poorly, so l set down and tried to improve them.
This is the result.........

Nice painting, they have a very life-like look.

Very nice. Reminds me of a set of 1/32 Airfix Napoleonic British infantry I had many years ago, but never actually painted.

Do you have plans for the remaining 27 figures you picked up? A small diorama perhaps?

I am considering a firing line type diorama, l have a Sergeant and an officer on the painting bench and maybe a few more privates, the rest will probably end up on eBay.
I still have my original Airfix figures, l painted a few back in the 70's, l may paint a couple of these although they will not size well against the larger Expeditionary Force.

Never seen this before and you did a fantastic job on these figures! I really love them!

Pity you live on the wrong side of the channel, otherwise I would have been interested in the left overs! Shipping would make it to expencive. :(

I could always get a postal price Peter, they are light so maybe not too bad.
