Various 28mm Moderns

Posted by Ben Bob on 16 Aug 2022, 12:21

This is an eclectic mix of 28mm figures I have painted over the past couple months.

First are some survivalists by Spectre Miniatures. I went for a mostly civilian look with these, using commercial camo patterns such as Multicam Arid, Kryptek Highlander, and Kuiu. The remaining ones were done in different technical/hiking apparel.

You are researching commercially available camouflage patterns for maximum realism? Respect, sir. That's the kind of deep dive that makes a project stand out.

Wow. I am a big fan of painting camo schemes. And yours are sooo realistic....but what I like most is this mercenary type with tatoos and cool t-shirt. Very very cool stuff.

Your work is absolutely brilliant sir! Can’t think of many things as challenging as camouflage. Tartan perhaps. Tattoos maybe. The thing is, I don’t doubt you can do it all! We’ve seen your camouflage and your tattoos - now I dare you to tackle some tartan!
