Timpo 9507 French Foreign Legion

Posted by Peter on 07 Feb 2022, 20:46

Here are the opponents from the Arabs that I painted earlier from Timpo. Three of them have small damage, to you to find out what it is.

First one is a bit blury but the other pictures are good.

Very nicely painted figures. I did not recognise them as Timpo figs. I only know these type of figs.

Like Jan I am more familiar with the figures in his picture. Damage? Not that I can see. Maybe you painted them too well? And a link to the arabs would be very nice!

i happen to like the old classic style toy figures from Timpo, but i lost interest in collecting and hated it when swoppets arrived upon the toy soldier scene. These look super cool in your chosen colours Peter. BB

Thank you Jan! Timpo has a nice range of hard plastic figures, also known as "Action Packs".

Thanks Ben! I have some to, but I think not every pose of them! But they are on my paintlist, just like the other sets of Timpo. ;-)

Thanks Paul! If I find them for a good price I buy them for my collection. And I still have to find a few of them like the cowboys and indians. ;-)

They look great, l had them as a boy, the Arabs as well plus the 8th Army figures shown above. It was a shame the Legion and their opponents only got four poses!

Thanks Phil! Pity indeed that there are so less poses. Luckely the other sets have more poses. Still got a few to collect. Cowboys and indians for example. :cowboy:
