Genius bottle gold paint

Posted by Dad's Army on 31 Jan 2022, 20:05

Hi guys,

Last time I was looking at the bottles of Vallejo paint, and a bottle of gold nr. 70.996
had a warning on the label.... I never noticed that!

Image

You all know how curious I am, so I needed to know more about that.
Well, I don't really post much on the forum outside of the duels,
but I really had to share this with you.
Yes read the label carefully, what a special warning,
on all other bottles this is not printed .... Only on the golden paint.
So I quickly took the cap off, and with a cloth I rubbed the bottle...

A big noise
Smoke appeared at once
PFOEF

And there he was, Ready to make my wishes come true....

Meet Genie:

Hahaha, a fun project and another scratch made by me.
Want to know how how I made him step by step?
Just look on my BLOG

Thanks for watching!

Ah ah, I recognize this one, a conversion based on a figure from a very well known comics series, and that you already used a couple of times... excellent :)

Another brilliant idea and another fabulous conversion!

He's like a wish come true that I didn't know I wished for. :-D

1. Ice Cream.
2. More Asterix figures.
3. That the same thing happens when Graeme tries it with his Humbrol tins.

I really thought that was a real label for quite a few seconds. Remco got me, and I am not too proud to admit it.

Definitively, you are the master of the Asterix figures, Remco.

thanks all,

The picture isn't to well, but it was a fun project.
I hat the empty bottle in my coat, and on a nice walk across the Dutch coast I was thinking wat to do with it, and then this genius idea got me.

My wishes stay secret, I got plenty of them LOL

Yeah not much of the figures can be used for conversion, so had to take this guy again...
