Asterix in Britain

Posted by Peter on 20 Jan 2022, 19:05

In 2018 I had a duel with Remco with a figure of the Asterix in Britain adventure. The duel and the result can be seen here.

Now I painted the second figure of this range of figures. I hope you like him and the previous figure.

And both of them together.

A bit more blabla (no extra pictures) on the blog ;-)

You needed about 3 years to paint second figure? Go, Peter, go! :xd:

That is a great album! But reading it in the early 70s, the Beatles-reference was a bit lost on me. :-D Nice work, Peter! Have some Brits and Egyptians and Gauls to do when the inspiration comes.

Mmmm, Peter, are you jealous of Remco's popularity with Asterix figures and trying to compete with him?

Seriously, you have made an amazing paintwork on both figures.

Thanks Santi! Remco is the sponsor of these figures, so he wants me to paint these figures. And he's much better in painting this kind of figures! Don't know how big his legion now is, but it must be big! ;-)
