Jean Hoeffler Indian Woman Walking

Posted by Peter on 09 Dec 2021, 19:11

As far I know Jean hoeffler made only one Indian woman in his range. It is for that a very rare figure. I was lucky to get this figure with a second hand and i reeally didn't realise that this figure was in it. I was so happy when I found her in the package that I couldn't wait to give her a layer of paint. And below you find the result. https://peterscave.blogspot.com/2021/12 ... lking.html

Comparing their original state with the one after your intervention, it's clear that the "squaw" and her baby have gained a lot. Great work, Peter. :thumbup:

It's the picture, the figure isn't that shiny, I've been playing around on Google photo's. ;-)

I looked at your "before" and "after" photos and it appears to me that you have, in fact, given her and her child far more than just one layer of paint. And the result is quite nice indeed.

Thank you Aaron and Erik! :thumbup:

@Aaron: a few more. :oops:

@Erik: they have their charme, these old figures. They were sold that way, basic color was plastic and only the skin and some highlights were painted. I loved them as a child and I still do now. This lady is one of the special figures that were made by Jean Hoeffler. Here is a pictures of them. I think I have one sitting indian and the zookeeper on the left, that's it.

Here is another one:

And here is the lady in a blue version:

One day I find more of these special ones. ;-)
