This is top class figure painting, and in my favorite scale too...
Irbis Miniatures are difficult for me to get hold of, but I do have three 75mm Avanpost 30-Years War kits in my stash and I really need to get around to painting them.

On the technical side I ‘d love to hear your painting technique. From the incredible consistently matt finish I’d imagine you use Vallejo paints…. What about your metals?
Do you use varnish and if so which?

I must say I would love to see some of your work a little less pristine and more battle weary with lots of dirt, mud and grime.
Sometimes I think miniatures, especially of rank and file, need a bit of blood and mud to show the less glamorous side of these amazingly beautiful Napoleonic costumes.
