Hello all. Just another shot to show how the lads are jostling around for a place on the finished diorama (have around fifty mtd figures painted up and doubt very much if I'll have space for forty of them).

Hi Keith,

It is truly a treat to see your beautiful work. I wish these are in 1/72 as they are very nicely sculpted.

I would love to see you do the Zvezda French HQ staff set. If you do please let me know, as I will greatly anticipate the result.

Bravo to the master of 18mm,

VS

This is one of my own favourite photos:

with a close - up

and a variation on the theme

Meanwhile, elsewhere (but not too far away), the Emperor is beginning to get the lads together - Valet, Roustam, lone Chasseur (and colleague), Variations on a C Minor and all

Thank you very much for showing your beauties! You're really influencing me to build a French staff!

Best regards,

Pure inspiration! I'm amazed about your work... one of the best 18mm stuff I ever seen.
You're a master Keith.

Regards.

Thanks very much indeed for the generous words of praise Bourbaki, Franznap & DBIO...

I have been extremely busy of late thus have had little time to work on my minis and the little time I've had have been working on some Perry Miniatures 28mm Napoleonics which aren't eligible for exhibit here on Bennos.

At first sign of 18mm inspiration I'll keep you all posted.

Once again thanks lads for the encouragement!

PS/ I really do recommend changing scale occasionally as I'm finding 28mm a piece of cake after several months working on Tony Barton's 18mm!

@k.b. I agree with you on the switching of scales. I've done some Dixon vikings which are listed as 25mm but are more like 28mm, and I was very, very happy with how they came out. Of course, just like you I can't post those here :nono:

Am unable to get down to painting due to other more urgent priorities and as such haven't posted anything for ages. Am presently looking for a decent 28mm website on which to show off my latest offerings which are Perry miniatures. Anyone got any suggestions...?

In meantime here's a wee peek at some of my latest photos...apologies for them being of previously shown minis but there might be some newcomers who aren't familiar with my work so here's a few of Mr Barton's fantastic sculpts.

Lovely!!!! the whole thing looks great but I particually like the way you have used different skin tones on the faces. The difference between the faces of Napoleon and the officer next to him, excellent

Your work has left me speechless. A true marvel. The figures are spectacular and your style of painting is very realistic. Excellent.
