Bavarian chevauleger 1870,54mm.

Hi mates.
My last work, although I started it a long time ago, is a mixture of oils and acrylics and the source is an old Verlinden reference that is very good.
It was a really fun piece to paint.

Nice work Santi. The scene is lovely with the fallen leaves and his confident air. Excellent painting.

Probably not good on spaghetti but works superbly as fall leaves in 54mm. Was that your invention? I suppose we can all benefit from browsing around our yards for little botanical bits. You never know what you might discover.

Another stunning work of art. In particular I love the variety of textures ie the concrete, vegetation and fabrics of his clothing. The green and pink tones of his uniform are absolutely fabulous.

A good friend gave me a jar full of birch seeds and they are magnificent to represent leaves and above all cheap, so with what I save I can buy a beer to paint the figure.

It's a wonderful vignette, Santi. I love everything in it: the fantastic lights and shadows of the figure, as well as the beautiful setting. Well done! :o
