Some fantasy figures

Posted by Kekso on 09 Jul 2022, 12:44

Here are some fci-fi and fantasy figures I've painted last couple of months for painting competition at Miniatures Painters Croatia Facebook group. I couldn't post it anywhere before painting competition starts. It started yesterday so...

Fafnir Rann (Warhammer 30k; personal favourite amongst these 3)

Really nice painting on all those figures. I did one of the gryphken figures that looks embarrassingly bad in comparison to what you did. Wow! Good luck in the competition.

I wouldn't mind to see it since I haven't seen many of them painted when I was doing my research.
And don't underestimate your work. I'm sure it looks fine if not excellent.

My favourite too. Great figure and what you've done with it looks just awesome!

I was very impressed by the painting of the second figure; the level of fine detail, the weathering on the sculls, and the glow at the heart of the blue flames are all excellent. But it's a fantasy figure and sometimes I just don't get fantasy figures.

Griffins though, are something I understand, and your Gryphkin is the stuff of my very favourite nightmare.

Good luck in the competition Dali.

I also have my problems with fantasy figures. But I still think they are excellently painted. Good luck in the competition.

Impressive figures and very impressive painting. You have used a full range of really vivid colours, which work well on these 'much-larger-than-life' characters!
