More Adobe buildings, a Shed, and some China Marines

[Pocho Azul]

All the buildings:

Most are by Tactical Conflict Systems, a small scenery maker of days gone by. I Am not sure who made the L-shaped adobe building or the shed. Either could be TCS or not.

Largest adobe building:

The casting quality of this one is a little better than the others and the style is a little bit different.

Two medium buildings:

These are nearly identical, and the smallest building is, essentially, the front half of the medium ones with a different back wall.

The Shed!:

This represents my first attempt to use the "Hairspray paint-chipping technique." I am tolerably well-pleased with the outcome. The door was missing, so I made replacement out of match sticks and a bit of paper clip wire.

The Marines!

These are Old Glory 25mm U.S. Marines as they were defending the Peking foreign legation quarter during the Boxer Rebellion.

your wood top of the L shape house as the building diagonal to it is bleached by the sun.
You should go in tho the next home gardening shop and buy some sun oil for the wood.
Maybe ask Tim from Home Improvement. Fore sure he know what you need.
Also the wall plaster is falling apart !
And your building with your praised "Hairspray paint-chipping technique" the white color flake off nearly everywhere!
Buy a can of white and paint it, please.

The only well protected thing is the captain with the pistol. He wear a FFP2 mask.

Thank you! I am using a computer monitor as a background for photos, which gives me free choice (and also helps back light the subject, a little).

Thanks all. I will be painting some larger buildings as soon as some more paint arrives. I haven't done any buildings before, and I was startled by how fast certain colors got depleted, I ordered larger jars of Liquitex soft body paints, and some little squeeze bottles to save mixes I am likely to re-use.
