Hello dear MABO,
I agree I think they'll be great.
They will add to my 1 to 1 scale British infantry battalion.
Happy new year!

Despite all circumstances, Mars has apparently released their next two 1/72 sets.
As always, the back of the box shows painted 1/32 figures.
Hoping that both sets will be of usable quality.

That looks like a PIAT crew in the British set. Neat!

According to PSR and a few online retailers, an additional Mars set seems to have been released.

Again, the boxart and the pictures here (see an earlier posting from 28. Dec. '21) show the 1/32 figures.

I received my Brits/commonwealth troops yesterday, I ordered direct from Ukraine, they are a 10/10 from me, a small amount of flash on some figures, but otherwise very very good and I hope Mars do more Brits, they are very under represented in our hobby in 1/72.

Mars revealed several new 1/32 figures during the past weeks.
Usually we will see 1/72 versions of them as well.

I'm still trying to figure out how PSR gives the British Commonwealth set a pose number score of 5/10 and the Panzerjagers gets 8/10, when both sets contain 8 poses across 40 figures, and don't have a duff pose between them!

Hello everyone and particularly to Mars team,
Long time no see!
In the current circumstances, having been able to get my hands on the new Commonwealth infantry set is already an achievement. The cherry on the cake is that they are really fabulous in size and quality.
Now of course we want more and I believe a Mars set on British mortars covering the famous three mortars in service in the Commonwealth troops of WW2 in NW Europe with the 2" (two crews) , a 3" (three crews) and a 4,2" (four crews) in the the same fighting attitude as your German paratroopers heavy weapons would be fantastic!
In the meantime , the most important is to get our Ukrainian friends and their relatives staying safe from this foly.
Have a safe day everyone.

PSR sometimes evaluates the pose number based on the stated subject of the figures. So there could be a topic adequately covered by 8 poses due to its specialist nature, whilst a general infantry set would require more poses to adequately cover a topic.

Mars commonwealth infantry are superb and yes please more Brits of that quality. The US Marines look once again stunning and will be purchased as too the Ukrainians , I don`t do post 1945 but I am going to make an exception with those.

Both the Ukrainians and the Volksturm look good ;) . Sad that the poses are a bit few as are translated from 1/32, but still better than nothing.
