My name is Pablo, I'm from Spain.
Recently I retook painting small 1/72nd figures after a 30 year long gap.
Back then I assembled lots of plastic armored vehicles and painted airfix and matchbox soldiers for wargaming. Then my interest shifted to 54mm figures and in the next decade I gathered a small collection, until an allergic reaction to the solvents in modelling glues and paint forced me out of the hobby.
i turned into a board wargamer for the next decade, but couldn't free myself form the modelling itch at all, and finally found heaven in paper modelling at which I'm still active.
The only major handicap in paper modelling is that of assembling small scale realistic human figures, so when I found some old unpainted plastic soldiers - surviving from those I'd bought my sons vainly hoping to enroll them in the hobby - I took to paint them in order to accompany some of my latest paper models.
So, here am I.
