1/72 Gallic Warriors

Hi! I left my Green Horde a few days to take pictures of a band of 1/72 Ancients, enough Celtic warriors for a DBA army (though they are not base yet).

Let's have a look:




The latest ones have been painted as members of the same tribes, wearing similar tartans.




The Celtic queen on her war chariot can now sound the revolt against the Roman invaders!

Phil, what a fantastic paintjob you have done with all those Gauls from Caesar Miniatures, Italeri, Hät...and perhaps Revell too?

Although they are all superb pieces, I especially admire the checkered and striped designs on the various items of clothing, as well as the drawings on the shields.

Thank you very much Santi! Yes there's at least one Revell figure in this warband, several Linear A figures from various sets, and also a metal figure by Newline Design (the guy with the black and white shield, far right on the third picture). The checkered designs are a nightmare to paint at this scale, I think I'm getting to old for that
