Brill Painting and Presentation. The uniformed white certainly works well with all these figures.
So it`s a total success Peter? i think black could be next! BB

Thanks Pieter, Santi and Paul!

@Pieter: once I had an officer who said: "Keep it simple". That's what I did here! :-D

@Santi: Old esci are indeed the best! ;-)

@Paul: Maybe one day I try to do some in black! ;-)

Nice work Peter. Something quite striking about the white robes accented with a splash of color. Good job replicating the dark, sun tanned skin tones.
Bill.
Ps: I believe the "scale down machines" talked about earlier in the thread are called Pantagraph machines.

Thanks Bill!

You might be right about the Pantagraph machines. I had a look at it at the Wiki page! ;-)

Some sinister looking miniatures made to look even more sinister with those big dark shadows!
Nicely painted Peter and black is a tricky colour. Also like your flesh tone - any tips?

Thank you Keith.

I use Tanned flesh paint from Games Workshop and I add one or two layers of Reikhland Flesh wash also from GW. I hope this helps.

The old ESCI sets are among the best in 1:72.
And you have created little masterpieces.

You have made a fantastic paintjob on this clasic Esci/Italeri nice set, Peter, in both its black and white versions, two colours that are difficult to achieve satisfactory results with.

I also painted three figures from this set a few years ago for my diorama "Gordon meets the Mahdi":

I have already seen it in one of your previous posts, Peter: you have perfectly mastered painting black clothes.
You show that here again. Chapeau!
thanks for sharing.
