French Napoleonic Mountain Gun

I had the urge to try and create this piece for some Pyrennes games I have in the works. Much is invention as I could find really no visual reference other than some later era mountain guns broken down for transport on mules.
Some of you probably saw the build for this over on the WIP page but here it is now painted. You can see more pictures, a bit of history and the build here on my blog, if you are curious:

Wow! The first photo, with your mule train on the move, is extremely atmospheric with the gnarled trees and that amazingly created rusty roof atop a beautiful stone walled granary (or the like). You have achieved something that i myself consider a very hard thing to do, which is to make different figures interact convincingly. You have done so in great style sir. Well done Bill.

Once the group is finished, the result surpasses the best expectations one could have had, Bill.

A new and very original addition to your French peninsular army. :-D

This has really come off nicely, great work Bill! They fit perfectly with your Peninsular figures and hopefully we’ll see them pop up in your game reports!

Thanks, all. Yes, they will certainly be showing up in a game at some point!
