Caesar Pharaoh's Chariot

Posted by XbriX on 12 Jul 2024, 09:34

I've added yet another chariot to my collection. The Caesar model is absolutely stunning and a blast to paint. My main goal was to show how different materials of the same colour can look (for example, the difference between red wood and red cloth). The runner figure was painted as well. Enjoy the photos!

Beautiful colours, congrats!
Sorry for the heresy and the off topic, but I always thought those chariots would be perfect for Wood Elves; maybe someday I'll get a few and convert them.

A great result with this fantastic chariot from Caesar Miniatures, XbriX.

I believe this is not the first time it has appeared on this forum and no wonder. I also have it on my list of future projects for the next 100 years. :winky:

Santi.

Absolutely captivated by your work; figure choice, painting style, use of colour and above all by your flesh tones which are splendid. What paints do you use?

Thank you all for such nice comments!

Everything is from Vallejo, either Game Color or Model Color ranges. For this time period you would be painting a lot of bronze - i can wholeheartedly recommend Vallejo Game Color Brassy Brass (72.058) for that.
