The officer is present

Posted by Bendy_Straw on 17 Apr 2023, 16:28

Greetings, just another post for my napoleonic French cuirassiers since I got the colonel ready as well. Also my franznap generals are here so at least one of them will be painted next based on my favourite personality, D'Hautpoul. In two weeks my military service will be over so I will probably have more time to spare painting the rest of my napoleonics, since there are not so many remaining. Then I will probably make a post about both my French and Russian armies formed up, it would be quite the spectacle I hope.

Wow, Bendy, the paint job you have applied to these marvellous Zvezda figures is simply superb, especially in their commanding officer and in the standard bearer. The complete unit is a real eye's candy.

This set in general and this officer in particular have been for years one of my favourites. And for years too I have this figure ready to paint it, but with no concrete date for now.

Santi.

Hello, what a nice brochette....
Like santi, this is one of my favourite sets and the cuirassiers my favourite uniforms.
Your unit is splendid and your painting clean and precise, a real treat to watch.
I have two cuirassiers miniatures in the works but I won't say more, I just hope to finish them before I go back to work.

Thanks for sharing and keep on pleasing us.

Very precisely rendered figure to put the icing on the cake of your Cuirassiers. My only doubt is with regards to his white helmet plume. I may be wrong but I thought I read some time ago that white helmet plumes were only used by Napoleon’s Staff officers. However, of course since I read that perhaps new evidence suggests different! Regardless……. your miniature is extremely well painted. It goes without saying that I can’t wait to see your versions of Francesco’s sculpts.

The creme de la creme of models and painting Bendy. Fantastic work, just stunning sir. The entire unit is of highest quality. A fine tribute to the heavies. Congrats on finishing your service. I certainly look forward to whatever you turn your able brush towards,
Cheers,

These look great! Always a joy to see your work, Bendy, and I look forward to seeing your armies en masse. I was thinking about doing the same myself…
