Combat at Villafranca de Ordizia, Spain, 24th June 1813

Posted by Bill Slavin on 13 Jul 2024, 14:09

Hi all,
I'm able to get in the forum today! Yay!
We played a really fun game last week, a rearguard action that took place in the Basque region of Spain shortly after the French defeat at Vittoria. This was a scenario that I had written myself and was a nice opportunity to get both my Portuguese and my Itlaians on the gaming table.
The full report can be seen here:

And here are a few pictures:

Thanks, guys. Yes, Kesko, my jubilation continues. Bennos just decided they like me again - I think I was unfriended. :(

Bravo Bill. Your game boards are always among the most detailed and atmospheric Ive seen. Nice to see you back and don't think you're alone having problems logging in. Some of us will keep plugging away until we get back in, I can't give this place up. I never would have learned about the Waterloo Remodelled project without it nor would I have gotten the inspiration I have from so many talented members here. Benno's is a special place due to the people.
Cheers,

Thanks, Bessiere.
Oddly enough, all seems fine now after months of frustration trying to get in. Who knows? It is good to be able to see what everyone has been up to again, I did miss the forum.
