Don't recognise the first figure from the Italeri set 6026?

Nope, he's Zvezda. It is a break of the rules here. :-D But nicely painted figures.

Unfortunaltely it doesn't help. Jeanne d'Arc is from the Italeri set. So a nice duel with figures from different makers is what we have.

Seems there was a mixup between June and July.
Let's hope the July entry can be changed now...
Sorry for the confusion, and enjoy these 2 great entries!

Well this "wrong" duel has come to an end.
First of all sorry for posting 2 different duels against each other.
The first entry should be placed in July, but it was in before I got the June entry.
Mr. X had some problems with his photo's, so I was focused on these.
And uploaded the duel directly..
Well never the less, it where 2 awesome entries, but a shame for mr. X
He lost again, poor man.... (feels it was my fault now)
The winner is Raph86 (Raphael), his first duel and I hope not the last.
Thanks both for this fantastic work, and I hope to see the official other duel figures sometime in this post as well.

Thanks to the voters as well!

The entry of Mr. X is fabulously detailed and the colors he chose picture perfect. I also really liked the base. What an entry! The only part I didn't care for were the oversized eyes.

Unfortunate that the incorrect figures were used, but it is all just for fun, anyway. To avoid silly mixups in the future, avoid sending in any photos that are not for immediate use.

All that said, the winning entry is truly deserving and its creator without blame for the mixup. He faced a similar work of excellent quality and recorded more votes. Great job!

Looks like baryaktar (soldier that carries flag in Turkish) has carried the victory...Also Jeanne D Arc is nice painted too like that blue color goes great with color of armor...

Good evening,
Thank you all for your votes and comments :yeah: .
I'm sorry for Mr X's defeat in this duel, which was a bit unbalanced due to the difference in miniatures  .

His Joan of Arc figure is superb and he tried the eyes, which I didn't want to do.
A little more angle for the photos could have allowed to admire the painting of the horse but photos at this scale are very complicated, see my photos which I find blurred  .

I sent my photos in advance because I am often on business trips like today when I was supposed to go home and finally I will not be back for a week.
I will surely try to challenge a MonsieurX again one day just for the fun of it because it's great fun.

Have a good weekend and thanks again for your participation, friendly Raphaël ;-)

The mix up didn't bother me I thought the figures were similar enough to be compared on equal terms. The only difference I could see was that one was holding a flag and the other a sword.

Oh and one was a woman and the other wasn't. OK that s a fairly significant difference but still, two Medieval mounted figures, in armour, with one arm raised. Same same.

Two excellent paintjobs here, I really liked the way that the painting on Raphael's flag made it look like it was really rippling in the breeze. And the rest of the figure looked like it was as well painted but, I preferred Mr X's entry because the close up photos showed the fine painting in better detail.

Not my period but I do like personality figures and that Joan of Arc figure is splendid.

I think there was a loss of image quality with the emailing.
Here are my photos posted directly from my phone.
Anyway, congratulations to MrX as his work is superb.
Have a nice weekend.
