I had several favorites in this competition, and this was definitely one of them. Congratulations!

Tell us please about this figure. A conversion I suppose?

To be honest I thought this was the work of Mr. Parsons. I meant to recognize his painting style. Now I see I was wrong.

An amazing piece of art! Congratulations Brushpunk!

And also compliments to the other participants. Many good figures!

Same here. I was even sure it was his. So far I knew only phantasy work by Brushpunk. Good to see he is also doing historical subjects. :-D

Thanks for your kind words and thanks for everybody who voted for me. It was a fun competition. :-D

I got the Idea for this unusal topic from the Osprey book about British Forces in North America.
I simply liked the artwork and the nice roundhat . ;-)

The mini is a conversion of the officer from Italeri‘s british infantry set. I used parts from miscellaneous Italeris minis . The right arm is from the french general staff, the hat is from a confederate infantryman and the left hand is from a early french infantry officer. I also used greestuff to ad some equipment and to make the roundhat bigger.

Here are some VIP pics (I changed the arm position at a later point)

I agree with Thomas when I first saw this entry I thought it looked like Adam's handywork.

Congratulations on an excellent conversion and masterly paintwork. You show an extraordinary level of brush control and technique.

A worthy winner

I've voted for your Viking.
A superbly-made work.
He is not a "little viking."
He is really great stuff.

I thank you sincerely for the compliments (the best part of my viki was invisible...the shield. As soon as possible i'll post a photo with the shield)

Regarding the other entries, all excellent ones, i would say that mr. bruno (nono) in my opinion is a very great artist and i "began" copying his pieces of art. :pirat:
