I had my money on Dollplayer´s dio...but was also very attracted to lz7947´s..all the entrants were very good..a difficult comp subject and all copied the pics used very well.

Congrats to every competitor and of course to all of the first three winning musketeers!

My personal fav was the "Out of my way" dio for imho displaying in fact the 1:1 conversion of a picture-but also my second time fav "Don Quichote" did a very good job. But beside my personal opinions all contestants did a very outstanding paintjob!!!!!!

Also from me a big hurray for all of the participants in this competition. It was a very strong one and the winner was hard to find. But the Lion Hunt was my personal No. 1 - to be honest.

This was a very interesting idea - webmaster!

Congrats to the winner with his great Dio.

But my favourite was Doll's player entry, it's a unique piece, very dinamic and lifefull, also I take off my hat for his wisdom making dio's, I mean, position of the figures color composition and the pictures taken are perfect.

Again my complients for the both in an exciting final.

Congratulations to all of you. All were great entrys. Like Paul I had my bets on Dollplayers Samurai-Diorama. Congratulations for a perfect and unusal piece of work. But I can´t help myself. To me it seems, that the picture was made after the diorama, not the diorama after the picture. Could that be? I mean, who paints a picture with the exact poses of a Zvezda-Samurai-horse out of the box? Nevertheless......it was a real eye opener. And it had the best splatter effects ever seen. ;-)

And last but not least congratulations for the nominated winner of the competition. LZ, you have done an absolute stunning diorama. The dust effects give it a good dynamic feeling. Good idea!

Now it´s time to give my Golden Brush to you. I had it long enough (because there were no comps meanwhile  ).

Benno, please take it from me. So I can win it back. :-)

The idea is so cool, hope to see this again some time.
I am a bit disapointed about the amount of entries, so much members and just a few entries.
But to all who where in this one, respect.
No favorite for me, just envious how you guys did this.
Thanks all.

and yes Benno, take that brush away from LB

Thank all of you.
T. Dürrschmidt was right. The picture was made after the diorama. But, it's not my first wish.
I've see few asia theme in this forum. When the game announced, I decided to made a diorama about "Blood" and "Samurai".But as you know, the old oriental picture is not like western picture's realistic.

Image

Therefore I changed my mind to reference the movie's picture.I think the rule is just to find one historical picture at first time. The diorama is almost like the picture is OK and the rest I can do whatever I like. Therefore I choose the picture below for my entry.

Image

There are no one man charge five men and the blood splash in the movie. So my work is almost not like the picture I choosed. But one of my friend told me the rule of this competition must to be exactly like the picture. He told me just before the deadline. I've no choice to ask my friend to draw this picture for me.

The most important things in my heart is to present I the work I really want to show others.

Anyway, it's fun to join the game and I'm happy to have final dule with my best friend lz7947.
Thanks again. :-D

It's so surprise that I can win this time since there are so many great entries. I like Dollplayer's great work very much. His sculpture skill is a superb level that i can never reach.
