Four old friends look good mixed in with the Roman ranks!
Why not see if you can spot them? A little clue two are actually Romans.
:read: Entry in the new journal, BB's still in self isolation so has lots of time.

Placed here fairly because painted figures may not be presented.
Although others might be, as i have more than one collective element of fun to present. :coffee: That's it 4 now. BB
:eh: Why not just open new topics up for each presentation posted ?
That is a good question WingNut. :eh: It is? O', My i'm doing well now ain't i ?
The reason is i like open ended topics that trace out a tidy all in one place pathway. This is going to be extra fun. :sst: it sure is, said the little button.

That's Great Jan,
It can be like trying to spot the wood between the trees if one is not familiar with the complete family of the Official DARGAUD metal Asterix Range of figures,
and only four are present in my photographs.

:coffee: So here the full range of figures produced by
METAL MAGIC / HOBBY PRODUCTS are displayed above.
They were discontinued in the early part of the 1990's.
 So are now worth a fortune! BB

Produced by the BBC many years ago. My,My! How Time does Fly.
They are superior in every degree to those new ones sold by the BBC via WarLord Games. I bought the entire stock which were not that many, because i love them for what they are, good reliable toys. Toys made for unexpected Stories or even Novels.

These are not Kits to make up.

Image

:cowboy: What ya see is what you get Pards. Said the cowboy who's slowly breaking in his new leather boots and warm woolly winter socks!
 i guess they came in their very own blister pack?

:read: Boots and all donated by Mr Pickwick! A "Boz" Original of 1836.
:eh: Boy that Bookworm is smart! Remarked a rather puzzled WingNut.

:sst: little i, can also see the cuff of bb's famous check jacket!
Said the Little Button.

Imperial Dalek

Bottom Up

Image

So what size are they? They are same size as The Unite F.R.E.D, known the world over now as good old Fred!

Image

40 mm scale to six foot scale figures.

The first Doctor Who, is seen above and is produced by WarLord Games under Licence from the BBC. His scale looks pretty cool when compared with these old-style brand new arrivals from the stars, that are all in mint condition.

What larks.pip... Great Expectations! Joe never used this phrase in circumstances where he knew it could never happen. As do i. BB

This has been quite a twisting and a turning journal, and in that sense no mistake. Asterix ,Romans,Monsters in your Pocket and Napoleonics!
i wondered what would catch my fancy collective nature to present next? BB
