.............................. :winky: FRED & MAYBELL

 All are restored and remastered photographs of yesteryear!

It had been one of those days when i felt awful, so i just had to sleep, and so it was i said to myself, `Sleep where is your pillow?' As it turned out i had bronchitis really bad with such a cough, and loud wheezing! Sure enough i managed to get over it, but it took three weeks out of my hobby. Mrs B,had it too.
 She gave it to BB. Being tough Mrs B,soon got over it and was safe well, and able to do her average dog walking of 10 Miles a day.

Anyway while i was laid up Fred, decided along with MayBell, to lend a hand with the aid of extra alien support drafted in. So the painting was soon done and dusted.

Image

Being quite small make challenges rather on the large size. A Big Job indeed.

Image

Heave Ho! Heave Ho!

Image

You might have noticed that Fred, was reluctant to take off his skis? Well he had grown rather found of them. So MayBell, was much amused seeing Fred sliding delightfully by.

Image

Fred,Fred, they need to turn it around now. Yes MayBell, they are about to spin it over and then down. And so it was the first piece was lowered down into place.

Image

Others followed suit, plonk! plonk!down. MayBell, could not help thinking that this was not natural when Fred, was in charge,or indeed her very self. All is going far to well.

Image

The last Heave Ho piece was lowered down with a soft sounding plonk! Quick as could be Fred, untied the string.

Image

And jumped aboard it alongside MayBell. Come on guys give it a few good pushes and our good deed to help BB,will be finished. Watch out for those skis Fred, they are most wicked hurtful at poking a little MayBell, such as me?__ So sorry MayBell.

Image

Everyone, yes one and all felt pretty cool about finishing this strenuous exacting job. You can`t beat team work to get a job done MayBell? said an overjoyed Fred. MayBell, thought to herself this cannot be? However she agreed, You are right Fred.

 The Punch Line

It was then an Imperial Dalek, the same make as Fred, came upon the scene.
" Why did you not just use your Elevating Beam? "
Opp's! Said a rather forgetful Fred.
i knew it ! MayBell, simply said.

:coffee: i guess it is the thought along with great effort that really counts?
Along with my one good speeding typing finger. BB

i just had to tick a box in order to post on You Tube.
Well i have to tick all my videos now or they block them.
A children safety legal thing.
Having no box for what i write and post,
i choose to tick the box, 'Not made for children.'
:coffee: Which is a safety legal thing for little o`ll me. BB

Good looking Greek Hoplites, Paul. I am still fighting myself not to buy any 28mm figs than Perry... But you are pulling the trigger everytime!

Medieval stuff is next on my list.

Building and Roofing work is ongoing here, and so my quiet laid back lifestyle is totally consumed by it all. i cannot work on my stuff,so i`ll buy some kits and review them here. It belongs here because it has not been painted.

Image

Image

There`s no box , it comes in a plastic sleeve. Which ain`t good for collectors who have a need for box art displayed upon shelves. ;-)

Image

Image

What`s in the sleeve? Good question. Well there are two large sprues which are on view above. These were slightly curved due to lack of boxing!
:eh: Boxes! Who needs Boxes? Said the caustic grumpy old Wingnut!

Lets have a closer look?

Image

Image

Image

There are ref numbers to each little plastic fellow, but i suggest that there are far more pose options available using imagination of play. i will look into it later.

As shown below there are six smaller sprues in the see-through package that make up the numbers.

Image

Image

In my oxymoron head of reasoning , where two opposites meet that make sense, combining these with other kits will be super cool and fantasy bonding!
:cowboy: You said it BB. Well i used to be a Comanchero, riding with the Indians. That was until the Duke Big John, caught him. :sst: that certainly must have been quite an adventure? Asked the little button. :read: Actually Cowboy, was working undercover for that masked man. Who`s that then?

 Everybody knows, but not the Forums Wingnut.

Now,The Sign Of Our Time

:coffee: Hopefully Benno`s Figure Forum will not be in Total Lock-Down over this Pandemic period, and the other waves of virus to come. So keep in touch with the pulse of each day,and communicate here if you want to. A helpful song is much better than silence. i`ll see you guys later. Aged P, BB

These are being stuck together and sold on EBay £5.00 for a figure.
An arm with shield another with weapon and a head is so hard for some to make do and stick it seems.
 ain`t that a little bit crazy?

Image

Very expensive but 60 Figures for £37,95 ain`t to bad to flood a rather grisly gruesome
battle field i suppose?
A little bit of glue and lots to clumsy do, just how they will turn out is any ones guess?
Awaiting the Mail Man on this one though.

So it`s time now for another cut and slash kit.

Image

The flopsy check jacket a true enough trade mark.

The Middle will just have to do.

The last picture of the mid section draws this Saxon & Danes kit to its close.

:coffee: VIKINGS ARE NEXT on my list.
:sst: o dear bb,has a list. :cowboy: That`s why he walks funny. Ya BB,will like that.

:coffee: At times to be able to laugh in its self is a awfully big adventure. BB
