All my figures arrived today, and as Jan stated,` They are cool.'

A few years ago I bought several 54 mm British guns with crew, so it is just a matter of adding other scale related items now to build up 2 or 3 tiny armies up.
:winky: They being the French,Prussains and British.

Image

I was able to purchase the entire stock of 7 metal 8 pounders available at £4.99 each saving myself a mint of money into the bargain. So that being the bright case money saved will go in the direction of buying a few boxes of French Infantry kits. :sst: " the plans afoot."___  "Ya!."

A plastic 54mm gun and 5 crew £25.00______ :coffee: __________ A Resin 54mm gun and 5 crew £45.00

 "No way!"
:sst: " bb`s rather careful cautious with his money."

Gun Crews will be converted 54mm French figures, with casualties laying around cast up by me. The plastic kits come on sprues with bits and pieces,so it should be easier to construct some gun crews. After all the foot artillery uniforms were the same as that of the infantry.
I believe that will be great fun. _________See you guys later:-D BB

Yes Great collection in the sense of very large. "He he he,a pitiful dusty state of red white and blue though."___ :coffee: " yes indeed."

Off Topic for just a while :eh: :eh: :eh: :eh: :eh: :eh: All the Mods shaking their heads in " No."

Within my Toy Museum
The Pride of my Collection the two tiny toys featured below,
and a small Napoleonic diorama `blucher1815red ', gave me some years ago.

Image

One pitilist de-dusting time I tried to clean up poor `Fred ', using the heavy duty Vax machine, and whoosh! Up the pipe he went rattling along to utter destruction. MayBell upset to extreme like Queen Victoria her self, was not amused at the loss of her friend!"
:sst: " he was quickly replaced though, after all he was once an imperial dalek."

More Cavalry is on order. " Gulp!"

All in all I am a one hundred percent affordable plastic `junky',
an element of obsessive compulsive disorder! ;-)
 "BB`s a lost cause."_____ :-D " I delightfully am." BB

So in quick smart time another quest to buy affordable toy soldiers at a good price has certainly come to a finish. That is until HAT releases the large scale Prussian Landwehr. Too-da-loo :-D BB

Well my 8 Pounder Guns, arrived and oddly the gun carriage is cast in two separate parts which I find quite annoying. Apoxy Resin for Metal I hope will fix the parts together or I`ll have to solder the darn things. I have complained, however these are `Prince August' guns so I expect it will fall on deaf ears.
Looking on the bright side the casting are clean and neatly cast, and above all good value for what I paid for them.BB

I thought I'd take a look at a set of these just for something a little different. At least the paint won't dry on the larger brushes as quickly.

To my great surprise, I discovered great Star Wars figures in 28mm scale last week.
Series of figures is sold under name of Star Wars Legion and produced by Fantasy Flight Games.
Figures are intended for wargaming but I'm sure figure painters will enjoy them too.

So I bought me AT-RT vehicle + figure and it wasn't that cheap. 25€ on eBay (shipping from UK included).

Speedbikes are next on my wishlist

Core set contains Darth Wader and Luke Skywalker but it isn't cheap at all. Around 90€ but it contains lot of great looking figures. And, as I could found out, figures of Boba Fett, Han Solo and Leia are in preparation  :xd:

Here you are Peter:

https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/star-wars-legion/

But you'll find more usable pictures on Google.

And I found guy on YT who made excellent painting tutorials for all figures (it helped me to decide to buy this figure).

I needed to restock with cheap paint brushes for undercoating stuff. I usually buy a pack of six for £9.99 on E Bay. However everyone on You Tube and Face Book is going on about this new Gaming Magazine. So I bought a few of the 1st issue, just to get my brushes, lots of free paint and there being three figures in each, I now have a dozen sci fi fantasy figures for a video endeavour later. The other paper stuff will go into the recycling bin.

The paint being one black, blue and gold in each pack. :coffee: See ya later BB
