A little side project for the Bronze Age:

Some work still needed on the NKE boats & crew

A certain amount of fine detail & touch-ups to do but the NKE boats are starting to look OK.
More crew are also on the painting table.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I like the contrast between the sleek Sea People's galleys & the commandeered merchant vessels used by the NKE.

The wave effect is really good, realistic and everything. The foam is what makes it

New Kingdom Egypt - Bronze Age.
I apologise for my use of jargon. We communicate to create meaning but, sadly, jargon creates barriers.

I've knocked together some very simple naval warfare rules & when my sea gaming mat arrives, I'll give them a go. I *did* decide to swop ships, giving the piratical Sea Peoples the rougher looking vessels & the NK....sorry, New Kingdom Egyptians the galleys. This just seems more appropriate.
