Gondor !

Posted by atalante on 02 Sep 2023, 09:39

I'm tackling the painting of the horsemen of Gondor, set 2 of dark alliance on the knights of the south!
I find the figs fantastic! Lots of details, particularly on the horses' equipment.
It takes a long time to paint but very rewarding in terms of the result.
And then Fantasy figs in 1/72, I love them!

Nicely painted. Please, post the rest of them as you paint them. It is also a good opportunity to appreciate the details of these new figures.

The same thing I posted about your Persian figures applies here, atalante. These Gondor warriors look splendid, with so fantastic paintwork and so brilliant colours. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Stunning work! The details you've picked out look great. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this set from you. The sculpts look really good-they are on my shopping list!

Great work, well done !

I acquired sets of the latest Dark Alliance 'fantasy' (LoTR) figures recently, and these do look like superb sculpts. Certainly a very inviting painting prospect, and especially now that you have shown how good they can look when painted so skilfully. Thank you!

Very nice work.
The painting is detailed and colorful.
But they are also really very nice figs.
I especially like the horses.
Let's see if I can keep up. ;-)

One more !

There's some work... Maybe I need to reduce the number of colors used :)
