Wonderful picture! Not that fond of the snow. It is too realistic! Had snow yesterday evening and it should be Spring now!

Once again a tour de force of modelling in my opinion.

The stubborn mule and the slinky cat are especially evocative.

Best wishes,

Chris

Your diorama is a masterpiece, dms.

It's a very accurate representation of what the main square of a Mexican town looks like. The setting is very well constructed, the figures are superb (both designed and painted) and there is a lot of amazing detail everywhere. My favourite characters are the female dancer and the mariachi (musical band) that accompanies her.

To say i like or even love your work would be an enormous understatement dms. I think it is absolutely stupendous. Of course, that is not to say i don't like some of it more than others.

These latest takes on Frederic Remington's painting are some of my favourites. The movement you capture is amazing, the cowboys really seem to be on galloping horses and firing a pistol or rifle behind whilst riding for ones life must have been no mean achievement. (Imagine what it took to fire a bow and arrow!). Not only did it demand great horsemanship but shooting ability as well.

I would say that you sculpting your own minis, regardless of how you do that, and then painting them maybe doesn't require the same skill set but you do a tremendous job of both of them, all the same. I can't wait to see the two groups of figures come together into one monumental work of art, which presumably is your intention.

I certainly take my hat off to you sir and greatly look forward to seeing more of your magical miniature masterpieces.

I also take my hat off to your superb dioramas, vignettes and figures, dms. Not only are the figures mind-blowing, but also the painting and the set-ups you do with them.

Go on with it!

Just a curiosity: Are the cacti also 3D printed? They look incredibly real.

Well done, a simply stunning diorama. Everything is beautifully executed and the poses of the figures are particularly well done. I think you should be very pleased with this creation, well done.

You did a fantastic paintjob on these figures! Love them all!

That figure next to the teepee is that a downsized 7th Cavalry figure of Airfix? :eh:
