But does the ´new´ Waterloo playset have the extra wagons and other bits with it. Always thought it only came with British line infantry and french old guard. Prussians

Here is some more information Paul, nothing about those old wagons, just nine regiments (with Prussians yes!) and a farmhouse:

@Peter. The coulor conversion charts. Thanks to these I could buy a new Humbrol 5077 but as a Tamaiya instead. :-D It helped me, I haven't got into mixing coulors yet. And I think the gift set has the extra wagons and stuff in it. But I ain't gonna buy one just to check it (got all the figs ('xcept da extras) and two farms already).

Hi guys,

I can confirm that the new Waterloo set contains the British, French and Prussian infantry, French grenadiers, French and British cavalry and artillery, the farm, the extras, some 20 humbrol acrylic colors, a brush, glue and two vacuformed parts to compose a battlefield. It all weights around 2 kgs !

:read: ...and the wagon is included too. You can see a pic of it on side of the box. In my humble opinion thats the only reason to buy the box if you re a collector. But for nearly 50€ you have to pay for that, you can get 3 wagons of metal.

If you know somebody going to the U.K. who can buy it there and bring it back, you can have it for 25-27 pounds

finally arrived; Waffen SS set 1 is shocking on first sight, never saw anything like this, wonderful! The other one is very good, too...
At first look it seems to me that Hat Andalusian infantry is a bit more large then Almoravids, at least some figures, they are somehow unevenly sized even in the same box? I hope I will find them satisfactorily fine when I catch some time for detailed examination.

Perhaps I'm sorry a bit that I didn't order some more of Waffen1 kit for conversions, they were offered at really nice price.

Went to the hobbystore to buy some green and yellow paints for my GNW Swedes (if I mix yellow with green it should be blue, or am I wrong? :-D ) and among all these Airfix-boxes were a box of Emhar's Viking Oarsmen. I bought it, but I don't know what to do with it yet. I'll probably come up with something.

Sus, if you mix yellow and green, you only get a lighter green. When you mix blue with yellow you get green. Blue is one of the basic colors. Mix it with red and you get purple,.......
So no blue for youwith the colors you bought :?

Just won the following on auction, still on the sprue and in their box (not that this matters to me).

1 x set Esci Modern NATO troops (you can never have too many of these)
1x set Esci Warsaw Pact troops (you can never never have too many of these)
1 x set Esci Modern US troops (I don't have too many of these)

NZ$15 each, approx 7 Euro or $10 US.

As told in an other topic, Martin brought me a big box; and this is what was in it:

Waterloo 1815:
- Prussian Infantry 1815
- Prussian Hussars 1813-1815
- Napoleonic Monted (on the box!) Line Officers 1813-1815

Zvezda:
- Medieval peasant army

And all of these figures are

I´ve just visited yesterday a model shop in my town , because i know he has got some Revell Sets.
When i recognized , that he has 30 Year Wars Swedish and Imperial Infantry Sets,i wanted to buy just one of each set -
expecting to pay 7,49 € for each set - just as they are marked!
But when he reads in the barcode , the shopkeeper asks 4 € per set from me  - requesting him if he has typed in the wrong price , he said , that these are older sets and were sold for just 4 € each!

8) Steadily grinning i asked for all sets he has got in stock sold for 4 € that´s what i received 8) :

2xSwedish Infantry 30YW
3xImperial Infantry 30YW ,
3xNapoleonic British Foot Artillery
1xNapleonic French Guard Artillery

Well I think that´s a good deal-or not?
