Pictures of CRISIS 2007

Posted by Benno on 04 Nov 2007, 21:41

Last saturday I visited the CRISIS convention in Antwerp for the first time, together with Bert van Hal, his son and Milko. It was a bit different than DUZI which I've visited the last four years. There are more stands with English brands, like Musketeer Miniatures, SHQ, Kennington, Peter Pig, Perry Miniatures, Wargames Foundry and so on... I had a few Perry packs in my hands, and their figs are really nice! With all these superb brands (and so little money in my pocket) it was quite hard to descide what to buy... but after a few hours I settled with Musketeer Miniatures pirates and a few packs of SHQ British paratroopers. ;-)

It was a great show and I hope to return next year (only then with more cash in my pockets hehe)!

Hi Benno,

The pics are great and do give a right impression of what Crisis 2007 was about!
Seeing these photo's I long for the next Crisis (have to wait a year :( )
I bought a lot of plastics (Caesar latest four historical sets, some Zvezda boxes, and the nice set of Lucky Toys King Porus army). Metal 20mm figs I bought were from Art Miniaturen, Uwe Ehmke and Newline. The metals were all but one Napoleonic items. Furthermore I got me a nice riverset (small stream) from Battlezone and a lot of those beautiful shield transfers from Little Big Man Studios suitable for 1:72 scale Hat ancients.
Greetings here from Joep, Milko and me, ;-)

Bert

Nice pictures,Benno.
Like every year it was organised very well by TSOA. http://www.tsoa.be/
I live very close to their clubhouse, just around the corner, but unfortunally they have their meeting on Friday evening and I always have to work that time.
