And another duel against Mr. X has come to a end.
The winner this time is Aaron (Bluefalchion) so better luck next month Mr. X.
2 interesting paint jobs, with different uniforms. A job well done by the both of you.
Congrats on the win Aaron, and thanks to all the voters.

Well done by Mr. X. His painting style rewards close-up photography, and his photos have been exceptional all year.

My goal for this duel was to go heavy on the detail and subtle colors and try to take an exceptional photo to give Mr. X a run. The details turned out okay but my photo was meh.

Mr. X has been a tough foe all year. Very happy to get a little revenge.

Congrats Aaron, you got my vote due to the more complex details and the "real" gold. But once more the photos of Mr.X are really great. So let us have the next duel this month and I hope that we see the February duel finally.

My taste for figures seems to be weird... in 90% of duels I vote for "loosers".
Congratulations to Aaron.

Nothing at all weird about preferring the first entry, in my view. Mr. X's use of bold colors and point-blank photography has been producing dramatic entries all year long, including this one.

The result? Many deserved wins. And his photograph is far superior to mine for the October 2020 duel.

Congratulations Aaron.

Mr. X's entry is very nicely painted, I was particularly impressed by the way he's treated the facial details, a really good effect. But the gold lace is a little too yellow for my taste.

When I scrolled down to see the other entry my first thought was "Why has someone posted a Knotel print"? It was not until I saw the second picture that I realised it was a painted figure.

Aarons entry is also splendidly painted, I like the gold lace and, with the subtle hues and the buff coloured background, that first shot looks for all the world like a Knotel print. I thought that was clever and it got my vote.

Nice figure, full of details. Aaron, you got my vote too for the "gold" and a finer paintjob on the saddle cover and uniform ornaments. Also the hat and its ribbon are well done. No match for Mr. X this time. Congrats!
