Posting pictures in the forum

Posted by Benno on 30 Oct 2007, 00:20

You have pictures on your PC and you want to put them in the forum? Well it's very easy! Sign in on Photobucket and upload your images.

Now, the pictures are uploaded, how do I put them in the forum? There are four links (see picture underneath) and which one do I have to use?

----------------------------------------------------------
Well you need the direct link!

----------------------------------------------------------
Click on the link and it get's automatically copied.

----------------------------------------------------------
Now put the direct link between the .

----------------------------------------------------------
Click the preview button to see if the picture is visible, if not, you did something wrong. ;-) I hope this helps for those who don't know how to post pictures on a forum.

If you post multiple pictures, please post them under each other and try to keep the width of the pictures under 650 pixels. Thanks!

Of course it's possible to upload your pictures on other websites, for example imageshack, but I highly recommend Photobucket.

I have been using imgbb.com

Free, and quite easy to use, when selecting image links, use the dropdown menu and select 'full link'. Quite easy.

You need a code ending on "jpg" or "jpeg" between this . I have my pictures stored on google pictures. I use the adress (right mouseclick) of the picture as code.
Just try it and when it goes wrong or doesn't work we'll see we can help. Always use the preview button to see what you will post.
