And another duel has ended.
Sorry to say for Mr. X... first he had to wait for the pictures of his opponent, and then...
He was beaten with 20 votes...
I am glad I know he knows painting is for fun!
So who was this strong winner...
It was another Mr.... Mr. Andrea

Congratulations on your win, and thanks for taking part on dueling!
Both thanks for your duel, and thanks to the other 22 voters as well.

(and if you like to duel Mr. X as well: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=22256&p=243478#p243478)

Nice duel once again by both. Mr. X is running up against a murderer's row of top class painters! (Well, not me. The others). He gave a good entry but Mr. Andrea's was better.

I gave entry number two superior consideration due to matte finish, shading, convincing face, and better photograph. I really liked the name of the second entry, as well.

Entry number one was also excellent. I especially liked the brass buttons and the chestnut color chosen for the wood of the musket. Keep the duels coming!

Well said!! But this time my vote was without doubt for the figure of Mr.Andrea. What a brilliant job on this good old HäT figure. I really like it. But there are a lot of opportunities to win for Mr.X :yeah:

I am coming late with my thanks to Mr. X for accepting the duel and the proposed figure. Duels usually represent for me the start of a new brushwork. With this duel I initiated working on the Hät set of the French young guard, which is now getting close to completion http://bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=22331&p=246925#p246925
