DBA 2.2 15mm Numidian army 40/II

Posted by blacksmith on 01 Dec 2024, 13:45

Here is another army I have just painted and I'll be using this evening.
Varnish is still drying and I have already started a Romano British/Arhurian army for DBA 2.2.
There is a bit of frozen effect on the bases but I'm already fixing it as I'm writing this.

It's a fantastic army, Javier. The figures are superbly painted, despite their small size. I especially love the elephant.

Is it possible that the figures are from Essex Miniatures?

Great work, my friend!

Santi.

Yes Santi, the figures are 100% from Essex. Thank you!

Thank you Paul, My first games went defeat for 2-1. I think this army is fun to play but also complicated and high PIP's demanding.
Cheers,

Great work Javier. I particularly like the elephant! Are you enjoying painting the 15mm more than 1/72?

Not really. Actually, I'd like to stop with 15mil and retake 1/72, but as I said, people play DBA in 15mm so I am painting armies to be able to play and not because I prefer them to 1/72. Right now I am in the middle of a new DBA army, a romano british.
Right after that I'll finish some little projects in 28mm and then I'll do a little bit of 1/72.

My house is small and there is no so much room for models. I don't have as much as I would :-)
