Airfix - 7th Cavalry

This is a figure of one of the best sets ever made by Airfix in scale 1/32. The reason I painted this one was because he was painted by someone else but not good enough for my taste. So here you can see him repainted. I'm planning to do some more, not good enough painted, figures of this set, but not now. I hope you like this one already.

Nice Painting
And yes the Wild West Series from Airfix is their best, even the Sculpting is very Hollywood- or Spaghettiwesternslike.

Very neat painting Peter.
Often was the case that this set of figures had their rifles broken easily.
Well kids liked to play wonderful battles with them. Myself included. BB

Have them painted somewhere in the cellar. The word somewhere is important, because I don't know where they are. Just painted the foot figures. I have the mounted ones and the horses too, but the saddle solution was not a very good idea. Anyhow! Great to see your figure and it is very nicely painted!

@Harry: I see them more as Hollywood John Wayne figures. I like those movies more.

@Paul: never had that problem. I think the storage has something to do with that problem.

@Chris: these would have been one of their best sets in scale 1/72.

@Gunnar: these figures are to good to be lying "somewhere". Soon I will try to paint a rider. Pegs will be cut, holes for the pegs will be filled with plastic putty and the saddles will be glued on the horse.

Very nice paintjob, I would like to see the other figures. I was not aware of this set from Airfix!
